Wonderful SouthIndia Rameshwaram Journey
Dhanushkodi is an deserted city on the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It’s located to the South-East of Pamban and is about 18 miles west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The city was destroyed in the course of the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and stays uninhabited within the aftermath.
Adam’s Bridge, also called Rama’s Bridge or Rama Setu, is a sequence of limestone shoals, between Pamban Island, also called Rameswaram Island, off the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the north-western coast of Sri Lanka.
Rameswaram is a city on Pamban Island, within the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s recognized for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage website with ornate corridors, large sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe within the waters of Agni Theertham, off the seashore east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) right here is claimed to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s toes.
