കൊയിലാണ്ടിയിലെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഇളനീർ ഷേക്ക് ഒത്തിരി പേര് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോൾ ആണ് രുചിക്കാൻ അവസരം കിട്ടിയത്. അടിപൊളി രുചി, പറയാതെ വയ്യ. ഞാൻ കഴിച്ചതിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും നല്ല കരിക്കു ഷേക്കുകളിൽ ഒന്നായിരുന്നു അത്.
തലശ്ശേരിയിൽ നിന്ന് ചെറുകടികൾ രുചിക്കണം എന്ന് പ്ലാൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അത് നടന്നില്ല. നമ്മുടെ ഫുഡ് ആൻഡ് ട്രാവൽ സഹോദരി ആതിരയെ വഴിയിൽ വെച്ച് കണ്ടു. ‘അമ്മ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ മീൻ അട ആതിര ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി കരുതിയിരുന്നു. അമ്മയുടെ സ്നേഹം തുളുമ്പിയ ആ അട തന്നെ എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടത്.
